Why does energy billing need to change?
Energy bills haven’t really changed in 30 years; you get a bill, you pay a bill. Repeat ad infinitum. The bills keep going up, and there’s no money left to fund energy efficiency.
Energy bills are operating expenses, but everything you can do to reduce your energy bills is a capital expense.
Until now.
We help energy consultants to help you use your energy bills as a way to fund energy efficiency, Green generation, or any other services that can’t be paid for using the standard commission that they receive.
All fees are shown on the statements we produce, so everyone is always aware of and happy with the charges.
This means that money comes from Opex, not Capex which helps you to budget.
How Does It Work?
- The client agrees to a contract with an energy supplier – ideally on extended payment terms.
- The client separately agrees to pay the consultant fees for the services they provide.
- We receive an invoice from the supplier and from the consultant each month.
- We rebill the client for the combined figure (showing the supplier’s and consultant’s details), plus a small fee for bill validation.
- The client pays us, we pay the supplier, and we pay the consultant. We retain our bill validation fees.
- All contracts are direct between the client and supplier/consultant. We just collect and pay the money.
